Radar Level Meter

Radar Level Meter PULS6X Y Series YOKOGAWA

Radar Level Meter PULS6XY Series YOKOGAWA

Radar Level Meter sends out short radar pulses toward the measured product via the antenna system. The product surface reflects the signal waves, which are then received back by the antenna system. The instrument calculates the level from the running time of the radar pulses and the entered tank height.

Advantages

Non-contact radar technology is characterized by particularly high measurement accuracy. The Radar Level Meter sends out short radar pulses toward the measured product via the antenna system. is affected neither by fluctuating product properties nor by changing process conditions such as temperature, pressure or intense dust generation. User-friendly adjustment without vessel filling and emptying save time.

Applications in liquids

Low-frequency C-band sensors PULS 65Y and 66Y are able to penetrate foam and strong condensation and are thus suitable for very difficult process conditions. Completely unaffected by vapor, gas composition, pressure, and temperature changes, the sensors reliably detect the surface of widely different products.

The compact, high-frequency K-band sensors PULS 61Y, 62Y, and 63Y are particularly suitable for applications where high accuracy is required. Excellent signal focusing is achieved even with small antennas.

Optimized for bulk solids

Due to the very good signal focusing, internal silo installations or buildup on the vessel wall do not influence the measurement. A high sensitivity electronics adapted to the requirements of bulk solids measurement enables reliable level measurement of different products up to 120 m. The measuring principle is unaffected by strong dust generation, filling noise, airflow due to pneumatic filling and temperature fluctuations.

Pressure transmitter WIKA model SA-11

Pressure transmitter WIKA model SA-11

Pressure transmitter WIKA model SA-11

The Pressure transmitter WIKA model SA-11 is designed especially for the requirements of the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

It is particularly suitable for the special conditions of CIP/SIP cleaning processes, such as chemical stability towards cleaning liquids and high temperatures.

The flush diaphragm is directly welded to the process connection. This guarantees a crevice-free connection of the process connection and the measuring cell so that additional sealings are not required. For dead-space free instrumentation, aseptic process connections (clamp, threaded, VARIVENT ® and NEUMO®) are available.

The SA-11 pressure transmitter is ideally suited to fulfill the stringent demands of sanitary applications and is EHEDG certified. Furthermore, the SA-11 is marked with the 3-A symbol and current version number, as it conforms, based on a third-party verification, to the 3-A standard.

Design

A diaphragm made of 1.4435 stainless steel forms a flush separation of the process medium from the pressure measuring instrument.

The process pressure is transmitted hydrostatically from the diaphragm, via an FDA-approved system fill fluid, to a piezo-resistive sensor.

The measuring range covers 0 … 250 mbar up to 0 … 25 bar.

The SA-11 pressure transmitter is powered with a DC voltage of 10 (14) … 30 V. Available electronic output signals are 4 … 20 mA, 0 … 20 mA or 0 … 10 V output.

A stainless steel case with an ingress protection of up to IP 68 offers secure protection for external cleaning with splashed water and enables its use in high-humidity environments. Through the integrated cooling section, process temperatures of up to 150 °C can be realized.

Applications

  • For gases, compressed air, vapor, liquids, pastes and powdery media

Mechanical Test Gauge WIKA

Mechanical Test Gauge WIKA

Mechanical Test Gauge WIKA

The model 312.20 Mechanical Test Gauge WIKA has been specifically designed for the measurement of pressures with high accuracy.

With its accuracy class of 0.6, the Bourdon tube pressure gauge is suitable for testing industrial type pressure gauges or for precision measurement in laboratories.

For the respective measuring requirement, a scale range between 0 … 0.6 and 0 … 600 bar can be selected. The model 312.20 is constructed with a case from stainless steel and wetted parts from copper alloy.

The instrument meets the requirements of the international industry standard EN 837-1 for Bourdon tube pressure gauges. The optimal readability of the instrument, with a nominal size of 160 mm, is achieved via a knife-edge pointer and a dial with fine divisions.

Supported through the optional mirror band scale, the parallax error can be eliminated. For this instrument, an optional DKD/DAkkS calibration certificate can be generated. Safe storage and transport are ensured by a transport case (accessory).

Applications

  • For gaseous and liquid media that are not highly viscous or crystallizing and will not attack copper alloy parts
