A Solenoid valve is an actuator that is controlled by electromagnetism. The solenoid valve is controlled by the electric coil, the voltage of the electric coil has two types, AC and DC. Common voltages for solenoid valves include AC12V, 24V, 110V, 220V and DC 24V, 48V, etc. There are many different types of voltages around the world.
Low-voltage solenoid valves are designed to work in pipelines with small diameters and low pressure inside the working environment. Their range is relatively limited. Solenoid valves are often used to connect and control water supply and heating circuits.
Applying a voltage lower than the average voltage will cause the voltage to drop and may result in a slower response time or the valve not activating at all. Applying more than the average voltage will result in overvoltage, which can result in a faster valve response time. However, severe overvoltage can permanently damage the coil.
The structure of the valve consists of 2 main parts, which are the valve body and the electric coil part.
