Description
Bimetal thermometer WIKA model A43
Bimetal temperature gauges operate with a measuring system in the form of a helical or spiral tube. The measuring system consists of two sheets with different expansion coefficients, which are inseparably joined.
The mechanical deformation of the bimetal strips into the tube shapes mentioned above results in a rotational movement, caused by temperature changes.
If one end of the bimetal measuring system is firmly clamped, the other end will rotate the pointer shaft.
Bimetal temperature gauges are available with a scale range of -70 … +600 °C in accuracy classes 1 and 2 in accordance with EN 13190.
The model A43 bimetal thermometer was developed as a standard version for simple temperature indication in heating applications.
Its modular design enables a multitude of combinations of case materials, nominal sizes, scale ranges and stem lengths.
This ensures that the basic dimensions are maintained.
The standard scope of delivery of the model A43 includes a thermowell.
The thermowell can be operated with an operating pressure up to a maximum of 6 bar.
WIKA temperature gauge
Temperature gauges operate on the gas-actuated, bimetal or expansion principle. They can measure temperatures between -200 … +700 °C. All instruments are also suitable for operation in thermowells.
